Due to the unrealistic demands of the Scottish government by enforcing their licence on the tourist industry, we are sadly unable to open

Wavecrest for letting this year.

Sincere apologies to all of our regular guests but we have no choice.

We do hope to resume letting in 2025, and will update this page as soon as we have further information.

How to find the cottage ...

Inveralligin is situated on the north shore of Loch Torridon Wester Ross. The whole village is within a National Trust conservation area of outstanding beauty, the area is renowned for its beautiful coastal scenery, stalking, fishing and mountaineering. There are a number of famous deer forests nearby including, Glenshieldaig, Ben Damph, Torridon, and Sheildaig. The whole area is steeped in history and is probably the last unspoilt wilderness left in the country. It is not difficult to overstate the dramatic grandeur and spectacle of the area and hills that are thought to date back some 750 million years.

Take the A9 to Inverness and across the bridge. At the roundabout at Tore, take the A385 and travel on through Contin and Garve, then take the A382 to Achnasheen. Continue along this road some ten miles to Kinlochewe, then take the A896 to Torridon. At the Information Centre take the road to Inveralligin and Diabeg, continue for about five miles. Turn left at the signpost for Alligin and continue down the hill into the village. Wavecrest is the last cottage but one just before the jetty.
